The following is a list of funds held by Beth El Congregation and identifies their specified use:

General Funds

General Fund: Used for budgeted operating expenses

Building Funds

Building Fund: Building improvements and repairs

Repair & Maintenance Fund: Emergency repairs for the building

Kitchen Fund: To replace needed items in the kitchen

Mollie & Erwin Neuman Fund: Sisterhood Room/bridal suite furnishings and upkeep

Anita Potashman Fund: Used for the needs of the Congregation

Michael B. Sufrin Fund: Used for the needs of the Congregation

Anita (Nicky) Gordon Fund: To purchase artwork & decorations

Ritual Funds

Chapel Fund: Used for needs in the chapel

Prayerbook Fund: Purchase Siddurim (min donation $30), Etz Hayim (min donation $75), and Humashim (min donation $50); Name plate in book identifies the donation

Rabbi's Discretionary Fund: Used for causes and needs deemed important by the Rabbi

Leizer Balk Fund: Used for the purchase, repair, and upkeep of ritual objects

Cantor Samuel J. Lazier Fund: Used for musical needs of the congregation

Helene Weinstein Family Crisis Fund: To provide assistance for any family crisis such as burial, shiva meals, & expenses for families in need

Maurice Rosenberg Fund: For repair of a Torah

Religious School Funds

Spiegel Religious School Fund: Used for additional religious school programming

Religious School Discretionary Fund: Provides for additional enrichment activities for the Religious School

Louis R. Paul Fund: Purchase of audio-visual equipment for the religious school

Milton Lederman Fund: Awards a Hay class student who has made the greatest progress in school. Additionally, funds will provide tutoring.

Seemen J. Rose Fund: Awards an outstanding student in the Hay class

Brit Kodesh Fund: Established in honor of Brit Milah and baby namings, these funds are used to provide for youth religious programs

Howard Lazear Fund: Scholarships for needy children in the school to attend special events

Nursery School Funds

Beth El Nursery School Discretionary Fund: Provides for the needs of Nursery School families

Playground Fund: Playground equipment and upkeep

Youth Funds

Youth Fund: Provides for youth programming

Ellen Rochelle Rudt Youth Scholarship Fund: Provides awards to outstanding teenagers to attend USY programs

Renee Skirboll Memorial Fund of Jewish Enrichment: Provides funds to be used for programs sponsored by the Conservative movement and administered by Sisterhood

Stephen J. Cirota Fund: Used for special sessions for youth

Marianne Zimmt Fund: Administered by Sisterhood

Camp Ramah Scholarship: Administered by the Sisterhood, provides funds for children in the religious school for Camp Ramah

Library Funds

Nan Toder Memorial Fund: To help establish a children's corner of the library

David Stahl Memorial Library Fund: Administered by Sisterhood, this fund purchases books and supplies for the library

Education Funds

Pearl Simmons Family Education Fund: Provides for family educational programming

Sol Metlin Fund: Used for adult education

Sufrin-Melman-BEST Weekend Fund: To be used for BEST Weekend
