For over 40 years, BENS has provided a caring environment that supports children and their families through the magical and all-important early years of wonder, growth and development.

Beth El's Early Learning Center is one of only a few NAEYC accredited synagogue-based programs, and welcomes all members of the community, regardless of religious affiliation. The school provides children with a solid foundation for later school success by nurturing social, emotional, creative, physical and academic skills through the earliest and most important years of development.

BENS allows the child to flourish, not only as a unique individual, but also as a contributing group member. Our staff recognizes individuality - our philosophy is to accept the unique qualities of each child and promote optimal growth at each child's individual level. Activities, projects, and teaching methods are carefully selected to support cognitive growth in the most developmentally appropriate manner. Indoor and outdoor large motor activities are an integral part of our daily programming. Children's natural interest in learning about the world around them is satisfied and expanded. Concepts and skills are learned through the child's hands-on explorations of a rich and varied environment.
